Bowman’s Beach for lots of shells, Ding Darling on bikes for awesome animals. The public library is a hidden gem. If you love books, you must go to Genes Books – amazing! Gramma Dots for lobster bisque and key lime pie and the Island Cow is a must. Sunsets of the beach are amazing! We loved our stay!

Cozy and comfortable. Easy access to anything that you may want to do. Big windows = natural Florida sunlight! Recommend a short trip to the Sandbar Restaurant to get the Blackened Grouper. - out of this world!!

We felt that we lucked out in finding Periwinkle Cottages. Loved the location, right across from the Ding Darling - went there every day. The cottage was very clean and new and perfectly appointed for us. Love the beach at the end of the street. Hope to come here again.

We came down to Florida to have a relaxing, quiet few days away from reality. And we had just that. We loved this cottage. It was very clean quiet and so charming. We had delicious seafood and saw the most beautiful sunsets. Definitely to the Mucky Duck and watch the sunset from there. You won’t be disappointed. Chris had the most amazing blackened tuna sandwich from the Lazy Flamingo. Overall, it was an amazing trip and we can’t wait to have the chance to return.
P.S. I’m still in amazement at the abundance of beautiful seashells!

Absolutely loved our cozy cottage, Ibis -#3. From the warm breezes on the lanai to the spectacular beach at the end of the road, to the super cool gator in the pond (AL). Some favorite discoveries in Sanibel include ice cream at Joey’s (in Bailey’s plaza), a free beach walk led by a ranger at Ding (Darling) Refuge (walk is at community beach park), and art classes at Big Arts.
