The cozy cottage was very decorated beautifully. Location was great. We enjoyed Jerry’s market and the beach and also the dolphin sunset cruise. Plus many more other attractions. Would definitely recommend it.

A and P – Omaha, Nebraska – January, 2025

Seeing dolphins at the beach
Kayaking in Ding Darling
Jerry’s grocery store!
Breakfast in the cottage every day
Timbers more upscale dining and great cocktails
We loved visiting Sanibel and learning about conservation efforts that helped preserve this special place. Adventures in Paradise cruise! A wonderful respite from cold Nebraska.

A and B – Ketchum, Idaho – February, 2025

First morning, walking the beach lots of willets and sanderlings – even saw a ruddy turnstone.
Dolphins rolling in the water. It felt good to be back on the island.
We lived on Sanibel for 20 years, on Coconut Drive. We lost our wonderful ground level home in Hurricane Ian in 2022. Our house was the same vintage as Periwinkle Cottages so as renters, we felt right at home. This is old Sanibel but with up to date, fresh, clean and comfy interior. Loved the proximity to beach walking and the bike path. Had a great stay!

Shell museum is spectacular! We loved Great White for pizza dinners. Felt like being in a neighborhood pub.
A lovely stay and definitely warmer than Omaha.

A and S – Toronto, Ontario – December, 2024

The beach, of course! The shelling and the beautiful weather!
We have been coming to Sanibel Island for over 30 years in my case and almost 50 years for my husband but never to Periwinkle Cottages. It was so wonderful to find this place after what the island has been through. Our first time back since Hurricane Ian we are amazed by the lovely cottages and appreciate al the work that has gone on, and continues to get this island on its feet.
